Bad Steaks
I was greatly disappointed in the service and the food. We ordered the top cut of steak and I ordered mine cooked medium well and it came well done. I ate it because I was so hungry we waited at least 30 minutes before we received our plates from the time we placed our order. I thought they were shooting the steer and had to chase him down. The vegetables were mushy overcooked. Salad bar was not gret pickings. Definitely overrated.    [21 Jan 2007 00:16:16]

Much better breakfast
My family and I recently tried the Manor House for breakfast and completly loved it. The prices may be a little higher than say Jerry's but you get WAY much more food than Jerry's. We made sure to tell the waitress that Jerry's lost our breakfast patronage. I had to take 3/4 of my food home and half my kids breakfast home because there was so much. Worst I ever had
My husband and I went to the Manor House for dinner and were disappointed beyond belief. Not only was the service slow (we had to ask each time for a refill on any drinks), but the food was horrible. Whoever has "created" their dinner entrees must have had their training at McDonalds. (My husband and I actually got better food and service from a local fast food restaurant). Salsa Trail Restaurant? - NO!
My husband, son and I were visiting Safford, AZ, and specifically went to the Manor House as it is listed as one of the restaurants on the "Salsa Trail". What a disappointment. The "Mexican" food was bland and basically tasteless. The service was slow and inconsistent. I ordered a chicken tostada and a green chile pork enchilada. When the meal came, I was given a bean tostada. I was told by the young (apparently very inexperienced) waiter that the cooks do not make chicken tostadas... but he could bring me a side dish of chicken if I wished (why didn't he just bring it with the meal... that's what I ordered!!!).

Also, I had to remind the waiter that my meal should come with chips and salsa (as the menu indicated). He said "oh yes, it is coming"... but he did not deliver. When he came back 10 minutes later or so to check on us, I asked about my chips and salsa again (remember... we are on the "Salsa Trail"... one would think the salsa would have been delivered immediately!) and, once again, I waited. The chips and salsa finally arrived about 10 minutes later, and needless to say, I had finished my meal and was no longer hungry. I hinted that possibly a free dessert was in order... but alas, no compensation.

The only positive thing I can remark on is the child-size deep dish pan pizza that my son ordered was delicious. My son was very satisfied with his meal.    [14 Mar 2008 00:23:09]
