AWFUL and I have eaten sushi in Tijuana
Coming from a sushi connoisseur and a lover of fresh fish, this was by far worse than the bottom of the ocean. The water in my regulator tasted better. We ordered edemame which was good....but how do you mess up a bean. The miso was average. The tempura vegetables were decent but the shrimp was "monsters inside you" version.

The owner and chef, obviously at his age has lost his sense of smell and taste. Other locals mentioned the sushi here was good. Hence, they have lived here forever.    [31 Jul 2009 21:41:35]

The yellow tail collar here is one of the best things I've ever eaten. The fish is always fresh. The rolls are simple and authentic-none of that new fangled American fast food sushi crap. Just some straight up authentic goodness. For Arizona, I'm impressed.    [26 Aug 2009 20:56:33]
