Food: Chips and salsa were served as soon as we were seated. The salsa seemed like it was made entirely with fresh tomatoes, so it was on the sweet side, not what you expect from salsa.

I ordered the vegetarian fajita burrito. It included rice, refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, and lettuce and tomatoes. The burrito was good, as was the guacamole. I wanted to have an espresso afterwards, but the machine was broken, so I had to settle for plain brewed coffee. The coffee was full-bodied, and wasn't too bitter.

Service: Service was reasonably fast, and our drinks were kept full through the whole meal. The only problems were that we were asked by three separate people if we wanted more chips and salsa, and the server took a while to come back for the money at the end.

Ambiance: The ambience is good. The walls are a textured yellow color, and the lighting was reasonably bright. The chairs were made of plastic, but they were made up to resemble wooden chairs. The upper level looked as if it could have been converted to an open-air patio without too much trouble. We were there at night, so it was closed off from the outside.    [27 Dec 2005 01:34:50]
