Small cafe in hip section of Mill Avenue, Tempe
Intimate dining, many pasta-based dishes with wonderful specials. Grilled swordfish was outstanding. Courtyard dining is very enjoyable in good weather. Kitchen activities fully visible; funky decor and personable staff, mostly university students. We take our out-of-town guests there and they love it. No reservations taken, so it can be tough to get into sometimes. They have another, larger restaurant in Mesa.    [16 Apr 2003 20:54:22]

Upgrade makes this the best choice in SE valley!
This place moved into a beautiful, big city feeling space about a year ago. The atmosphere and the food are by far the best in Phoenix area. The couple are from Europe that started this place and are always there to ensure the best. Suits and shorts sit side by side.
