Darn Good Sandwiches Dickman's Meat and Deli is focused on selling all kinds of bbq-able meats, but the real good stuff is the sandwiches. On sub roll or rye, with one, two, or three kinds of delectable meats and cheeses, these sandwiches are just darn good, and cheap too, only four bucks for a six-inch. The service is friendly, knowledgeable, and speedy. The restaurant is a small, clean room with little tables and chairs. Not many little delis remain, and it is worth the trip to give this one a try. Great for fresh steaks, the best sausage in Tucson Dickman's sells sandwiches, etc., but the vast majority of customers are there for the "ugly" steaks, the "Jan's special" steaks, and the totally awesome home-made sausage--try the cheese and jalapeno or the cajun!
My wife and I have been shopping there for years and we've never had a bad cut of meat. I don't care for steak, but the "ugly" steaks (that's what they call 'em) are just awesome. [03 Sep 2007 12:01:51]

I Enjoyed my Sandwich I recently went to Dickman's very hungry and had the special of the day which was honey roasted turkey and cheese. I had this on rye with dill potato salad. Yum! I also got a pound of ground sirloin and will report on that later! [26 Feb 2008 20:16:38]
