Simply the finest restaurant in the U.S.A. Let me first state that this restaurant is not actually owned by B.A., or even officially licensed. But it is a loving tribute. The walls are covered with pictures of B.A. and excerpts from his famous weblog (http://ba.manilasites.com). Workstations at each table let diners browse B.A.'s site while they eat. After 2 minutes of inactivity, the the terminals automatically begin displaying a series of links suggested by B.A., for those who would rather not surf and eat at the same time.
The cuisine has alternately been described as Neo/Retro, Eclectic Fusion, or Cybercomfort Food. All dishes are painstakingly prepared from scratch using the rarest and most expensive ingredients. Some dishes are so complicated that they take several hours to prepare.
Depending which night of the week you visit, you may be treated to recordings of B.A.'s music reproduced faithfully through an experimental 15-track surround system. Other nights Dongus, Arizona's premier B.A. cover band performs live in the submerged carp pond in the Jungle Room.
Make reservations or be prepared to wait, as the line to get in is often several blocks long. [18 Jun 2003 16:29:48]

So good, I'll never brush my tongue again The name B.A. means one thing to me: quality. Thus, my expectations where stratospherically high when I entered B.A.'s restaurant.
As usual, I was not disappointed. Nay, everything about this place reaffirmed my deep, deep reverence for all things B.A.
I was expecting the robot bartender and the monkey wait staff, but the tableside holograms of the Queen of the Harpies were a pleasant surprise.
The food fulfilled every dining fantasy I've ever had -- even some I didn't even know existed! It was completely worth the 2,000-plus mile commute it took for me to get there. [27 May 2005 21:40:08]
