Excellent Unique sushi

sushi without seaweed

Best sushi in the bay area
Sakura is a hole-in-the-wall that is never as crowded as Sushi House or Kirala, but incomparably better. The current sushi chef took over almost a year ago, and he is every bit as good as the previous owner.
They have a good selection of both classic and innovative rolls. Their rolls and nigiri are very large, and the fish is some of the freshest we've found.
Don't go for a quick meal; the service can be a bit slow, but sushi should be savored anyway. However, they are friendly, and if you're in the mood for something different, try asking for a surprise roll.
