TINY YET AMAZING!
This tiny little place on Solano Ave. by San Pablo doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is THE place for some great sushi. Sushi bar is small so be sure to make reservations. Tatami room is nice - reservations also w/a minimum # of people.

Onkimo (sp?) - monkfish liver - is superbly smooth and rich (when they can get it in season). Cooked dishes also very good - beef and scallion is quite simple yet extremely flavorful. Tennis roll is also a winner with a satisfyingly crunchy texture. Talk to the sushi chef - no matter who is there that day they can help you find what you like.    [28 Jul 2004 00:18:50]

Excelent sushi!
Fabulous tempura and great service. Fish was very fresh and had just the right amount of wasabi kick.    [29 Jan 2005 23:36:36]
