Description

Humphrey's on the Delta is a large and roomy restaurant that sports a large bar, a breathtaking view of the water, and a modest menu that is, of course, predominantly seafood, ranging from simple salmon dishes to the harder-to-get items, such as Alaskan king crab and filet mignon. The desserts are extensive and brought on a tray for patrons to choose from. The prices on some of the seafood entrees can approach $30 each, so be prepared.

Noisy, poor food preparation.
We had dinner with old friends who had traveled to the Bay Area. The food was moderately good. (However, my thick pork chop was still pink in the center.) The ambiance was very nice with the beautiful views and the dining room's interior woodwork. BUT on Thursday and Friday nights this restaurant caters to a drinking crowd. They feature very loud music, so loud that we could not carry on a conversation at our table which was 40 feet from the bar. For that I will not pay those prices, and I will not return to that restaurant.    [11 Jan 2007 14:36:52]
