We hadn't eatan at Nikki's in a while...thought we'd give it a try. Their all you can eat soup and salad combo is a great lunch. However, the waiter dropped off our food and never returned. I waited patiently for a refill on my soup and salad and our drinks...and waited...I asked another waitress to send him over...to no avail. We finally got up, went up front to pay our bill and asked to speak with the manager. The cashier brought over someone whom I am almost sure was not the manager and could have cared less. We love this place!
A friend of mine asked me if I was hungry one AM while we were in the Apple Valley area (I live in Big Bear Lake). So, we stopped at Nikki's. What a wonderful place! Now, my wife and I have been back twice for dinner. You cannot beat this place for ambience, quality, and value. I love how they bring you mini loaves of hot bread on a cutting board. The salad is just one of the best garden salads I have had.    [10 Nov 2006 21:19:26]
