Denny's in Atwater
I work for this Denny's. So it is very sad to say that if I have to get up and get my own food, and serve myself, I can only imagine what the other customers think about certain servers that work there. My food was somewhat warm. The heat lamps over the pass through, are all broken, except one. So if they food isn't cooked fast enough and has to wait for the rest of the ticket to be taken out, it's going to be cold. Plus waiting on the servers to come and get it. They are somewhat understaffed (they are working on it). Yet, they lost 2 managers this month..the G.M and his assistant manager. So we now have 2 managers who don't help the servers when they are busy.
Last week, the power went out, from about 1 am till 7:30 am. They didn't throw any thing away. But they still served the food. That is BAD! I hope no one got sick. They don't have working air conditioning. So it's very hot in there for the customers and the girls who run around non-stop.
The fact that I work there, and I wouldn't eat there when certain servers are working is a horrible thing to say. They give poor customer service and are not very friendly and make a lot of mistakes. I can only imagine how people feel when they come in to those girls. The managers and owner (who is there now because of certain things) should help out the servers when they see that they need the help. Just standing in the front of the register and watching is not a big help. Or sitting in the office talking on the phone to family does no one good, especially the customers. SO I appologize on behalf of the crew of Atwater Denny's. We are not all bad. I PROMISE!!!!!!!    [12 Aug 2004 23:04:31]

Recommended Dishes: I recommend the Dagwood with country potatos. That has to be one of the best sandwiches we have on the menu.

Unbelievable!
I visited this Denny's several times and every time is so bad. First off when you walk in no one is there to seat you, even when they are not busy. It always takes at least 15 minutes for someone to take your order. You can see that they are very understaffed and unorganized. Recommend that you don't eat here.
