Best Place for a Taste of England
Britannia's quite different from the rest of restaurants in Bakersfield, because it's actually owned and run by a true Englishman or really Englishwoman, who actually hails from England.

The food at Britannia is sure to have you coming back again and again. For me, it's the famous fish and chips. The sides that come with the fish are a meal in itself.

Average place to dine
The fish and chips here are just your average fish and chips similarly found at franchise restaurants. If you like sitting on wooden tables and wooden chairs, then this is the place, otherwise there are more comfortable and better restaurants to dine at in Bakersfield. I left smelling like I had been fried, guess it was due to the greasy fried smell from the kitchen. We were the only diners in the restaurant and it still took the server a good 10 minutes to come to the table.    [24 Mar 2006 16:58:38]
