Discover real Mexican Cuisine When you walk into La Casita Mexican in Bell it's as if you had been transported to Mexico...the festive music, the bright colors, the aroma of food being cooked, the pleasant service of its owners. And then you savor the food and you think you are in gourmet heaven. There is pumpkin flower soup, chiles en nogada sprinkled with pomegranate seeds, handmade tortillas, cool fruit waters and a heavenly flan. This restaurant has received rave reviews by the top food experts and they are deserved. Ramiro and Jaime are genial hosts and they are to be congratulated. They cook with "sazon" and lots of love. It's hard to find any tastier food anywhere in LA. [11 Jul 2003 03:40:53]

Great Food and great people La Casita is a gem. It offers authentic excellent Mexican food in a wonderful, and surprisingly small (given the quality of the food) restaurant in Bell. I have eaten four or five of the entrees. I can recommend in particular the chicken mole, and pozole. Also well worth a try is the Nopal soup, which was a flavorful and absolutely perfect. The owners are always there and are dedicated to making the experience wonderful. [29 Oct 2003 19:30:18]

i am from mexico city and this is the best restaurant i have found in LA The great chips with mole are delicious.
I been living in LA my adult life and this is the restaurant that birngs me back to real Mexico. Las enmoladas de pollo are the best and I could even go as far as to say that are better than my mom's homemade enmoladas. I loved the flan, the guayabas con rompope and the hand made tortillas and not to mention the lemonade with "chia". I have gone back 10 to 15 times and I still can't believe how economic are the prices for the quality of food. With this restaurant I no longer need to go back to Mexico City. I love it. O, My God!!! This is Mexican Before eating at La Casita, I had lost all hope for real home-cooked -- “Casero” -- Mexican food. But I was referred to La Casita and I fell in love. Their food is just like my Mom used to make. I love and enjoy the atmosphere and the ambiance provided by the owners and the staff. I can with a full heart recommend this restaurant. My family has made this restaurant our "meeting place." My 13 immediate family members all LOVE IT!! I’m sure you will, too! [08 Aug 2007 12:11:19]
