BIG FAT HOT DELICIOUS BURGERS!!
I live in Irvine but was visiting a friend in Bellflower. He told me about Big Mike's and said I had to go try one. I had a Big Mike, it was awesome! It's a huge burger, really thick and grilled to perfection. The Big Mike comes with 2 hot links on it, pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard! It was sooo good! It was so big, I ate it 3 times throughout the day before I finished. I think I might go back today to get another one. The price is great too! You get this huge burger with fries and a drink for only $5.95!!! Awesome!! My only complaint is the wait. It was pretty packed when I got there and they were working on a huge phone order, so I had to wait about 30 minutes before I got my burger. But it was definitely worth it! The only reason people come to Bellflower on purpose
This place has reached legendary status to folks from Bellflower and beyond. Few people on their first visit can defeat the outrageously huge and delicious burger that is a "Big Mikes". The patty itself is 2 1/2 inches high and to top it off besides all the usual condiments they put a split open spicy sausage link on top, the burger is almost impossible to fit in your mouth. They also serve ribs, pork chops , some great side orders. WOW!!
He's been around for a long time, and the food is great. The Big Mike's Special is a must get (but only if you are VERY hungry). It is about a pound of hamburger with a split hot link sausage, cheese and dressed with fries and a soda for about five dollars.    [31 Jan 2005 15:57:44]

Ridiculously Big Burgers
I tried the Big Mike first and that was so big I had to take it to work and split it 4 ways. As the cook was preparing my burger I said what are you putting on top of my burger and he said a hot link, I said OMG that's too much how bout just some bacon, he said no problem and gave me the bacon on the side. Then I tried the Little Mike and that was huge too, I could only eat half and I'm a pretty big eater. So I took the half eaten burger home planning to give the other half to my dog because I felt a little guilty for eating all that food. But my husband got it first. He took a bite of the microwaved burger and said I like the texture, freshness and size of the meat is phenonmenal, I would just like a little more seasoning. I don't like salty food so I thought the seasoning was fine especially with the bacon and cheese being salty. I said honey that's the Little Mike.
My husband is a Police Officer and he is always in search of a good burger as are his fellow police comrades. Despite what most people think cops are not donut connoisseurs, they are hamburger connoisseurs. My husband plans on bringing in the troops to give it the taste test. Wow I am amazed
I just moved out to California from Florida, and came across Big Mikes. These burgers are huge. I called ahead, told me 15 minutes. I showed up, still had to wait; but it was worth it.
