The service was fast and friendly, and the establishment was clean. I ordered my personal favorite -- sandwich wise -- the turkey sub. It wasn't bad. The bread was a little powdery, and they went a little heavy on the onion. However, I wouldn't be opposed to giving them a second try. [19 Oct 2003 19:09:23]

THE BEST SUBS I HAVE EVER HAD I have been a loyal customer of J's Subs for 20 years. They have the best subs ever. I always eat the super sub, which is loaded with cheese, 3 meats, avocado, mayo, pickles, onions, peppers, Italian dressing, lettuce, tomato (I may be forgetting something). This sandwich is HUGE. Order the large because you will want to eat it again later, so you can save half. Recently my friend went with me and she is a PICKY eater since her parents own a restaurant, but she fell in love with the Cold Roast Beef. I don't know what J's puts on the regular, but she orders it with just R.B., provolone, mayo, onions, and lettuce and it is TO DIE FOR. After ordering the Super for 20 years, I am torn between which to eat, so I'll usually have a friend order one, me, the other and split halves. I'm sure that the rest of their sandwiches are just as good.
I moved out of Bellflower 17 years ago and still drive all the way back for J's. once I called 411 to get the number because I had lost it and the operator said "OH MY GOD, those are the BEST sandwiches." Even she knew.. ha ha! [15 Apr 2006 16:59:36]
