A Sweet Sanctuary
The Camellia Tea Room is a great place to eat, whether the occasion is casual or formal. A beautifuly redone building from the 1820s, with a great atmosphere and excellent food. You can order a variety of teas, including iced, and I have yet to try one I didn't like. Has a view onto First Street if you like to see the world passing by, and tables in the back for a more excluded dining experience. It has tables to sit any group from 2-12, and your tea is served in a personal teapot. I love coming here as a mother-daughter date with my mom. However, you do need reservations to be assured a place,though you sometimes can come without one. Five stars.    [31 Aug 2006 19:55:08]
