A Gem in the Mountains
This restaurant is a MUST if you are in the Lake Arrowhead area. Champinones is casually elegant and offers original artwork in the dining room and a striking wood bar. The owners have obviously taken a lot of time on the wine and beer list and the staff is friendly but unobtrusive. The best part about this place--the food! Seasoned perfectly and presented beautifully, it's obvious that they have some creativity and talent in their kitchen.    [02 Feb 2005 11:55:05]

Wonderful Resturant
I have eaten at Champinones and they have food that is so delicious! It all is served to you so beatifully, and it tastes very good. The Service is impeccable. It is very quiet and nice, so you can enjoy your dinner and not be disturbed. They are very respectful, and i have also heard nothing but GREAT things from other people that have eaten here! I would reccomend this to anyone that wants to have a nice night out and enjoy a very good meal!Be sure to save room for dessert and coffee!
