Not up to scratch
Mandarin Garden is a pretty ordinary Chinese restaurant, with the food a bit below average. The food was too bland, and nothing in the menu we ordered - quite a wide selection of food, for quite a few people - stood out as anything we'd order again. We love Chinese food, but one meal from Mandarin Garden almost two years ago was enough - there are a number of quick-cook options available frozen in the supermarket that have better flavour and texture. I doubt we'll eat there again.
