Great and Authentic Sushi If you are looking for great Sushi, then you must try Tomo's. Tomo is short for tomodachi, or friend in Japanese. Coincidentally, the owner is Tommy and he treats everyone as a friend.
The food is great. The sushi is offered with generous amounts of fish. The rolls are delicious too, but be sure to check out the specials board on the wall. You can get some wonderful and often unique items. I personally enjoy hand rolls and the Blue Crab hand roll is wonderful.
If you are not into Sushi, the teriyaki and tempura are great too. Try out the gyoza as well. It is a great appetizer.
One thing I am discerning of is the Green tea (Ocha) in Japanese restaurants. Tomo's has a delicious hot tea as well as a cold tea (although canned). Better than most Japanese restaurants.
There are many Sushi bars within walking distance, but stay away from the chain restaurant across the street. Head to Tomo. You won't be disappointed! [23 Apr 2007 11:34:25]
