Good Fish, Great Shellfish Their fish is really quite good and tastes fresh. Also, they have great tasting oysters that are supposedly from the East coast, yet they still taste fresh. I would say their fish items are a good value for the price, considering that you are getting some quality fish. That being said, however, their non-fish items leave a lot to be desired, and are not a good value for the money. They also have a TOTALLY LAME happy hour, despite the fact that they have an entire ROOM designated as a "bar." I use the term loosely because despite neat-o decor and ambiance, nobody is ever in there. Perhaps they are boycotting on account of the shoddy happy hour. I certainly am. [26 Jul 2006 14:22:16]

Crabby Staff I've eaten at King's a few times and always had a great experience with the food.
I will not return however.
I attempted to take my family plus an out-of-town guest to dinner there on a relatively busy night and was given one of those buzzing blinking pagers to wait with. After nearly 1 1/2 hours our pager went off (no big deal - we expected to wait) and we excitedly walked up to the host desk. My father presented the still-buzzing disk and the hostess looked him straight in the eye and said, "Um, can I help you?" He told her that our pager had buzzed and she proceeded to interrupt him and say, "No it didn't." He held up the blinking pager and she said, "Um YEAH, it always buzzes when we first give it to you." As we tried, in vain, to tell her that we had been there for almost 2 hours, a manager came over and argued that we had not been paged and that we would still have to wait at least another 30-45 minutes.
We went to Red Robin and had fish sandwiches instead. [24 Feb 2007 17:02:39]
