The food here is great. It is a little crowded around noon, so better to go a little earlier or later than that.

We call it "The Chicken Taco Place." They have amazing chicken tacos!!!

This is a total hole in the wall, so not the place to go for a "fancy" dinner, but a definite great place for good food.    [03 Jun 2005 14:14:18]

What Happened?
Santa Fe used to be a favorite lunch place, but it seems they've changed owners and the quality (and prices) have all gone down hill.

The tacos and nachos used to be GREAT!! Now, just ordinary. They also started charging (!) ridiculous prices for salsa (think $1 for one of those tiny 1oz plastic cups, $4 for an 8oz styrofoam cup).

The Best
Santa Fe Café has been around forever. I have been going here for the last 18 years. If you're looking for a quick, small, clean, fun atmosphere this is the place. Their food is great! From the tostadas, bean burritos, tacos, you name it, it's good!    [07 May 2007 21:07:34]

Can't Complain
Always had good food at pretty reasonable prices. For a college student, it's ideal. Plus the girl who works there is like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. She is sooo sweeet.

Two suggestions for improvement:

There are about 800 apartments within two blocks. If they delivered to stoned college students (of which there are many), they would make a killing . . .

Also, stay open past 9 p.m.! It only takes two employees there.    [17 Mar 2008 23:43:42]
