2 for 10 @ 5:00 Dress nice to fully enjoy the intimate dining at this fine restaurant. The early bird specials are great, however make reservations so you are not disappointed.
Weight watchers will enjoy the many point frendly choices that are available.
Whie the food is rich the early bird specaials are very reasonable.
Enjoy. [16 Feb 2003 18:22:15]

TheBest In Town We eat there at least once a week and we find the service to be the best ever. The servers you feel like you're at home - or better. [11 Jan 2004 13:40:22]

Gourmet in Camarillo Fancy place in the middle of Camarillo. Cioppino is as good as it gets and comes with a nice salad. Service is at a pleasant pace and friendly. Worth a trip even for the 1/2 pound burger. [02 Mar 2005 12:15:34]

Never Again Very nice looking place to go; however, waitress never checked up on us. Had to ask 3 times for new cokes (no refills). They don't serve kid meals to adults. You'd think if they have chicken strips for kids, they would have an adult meal of strips. Prime rib was good but way over priced. Never offered a glass of water. [01 Sep 2006 21:24:52]

Service???!!!! As a regular customer of California Grill I would think the manager would be more understanding. Up until a very unpleasant incident I had always enjoyed dining at the restaurant and I lauded the esceptional service and quality of the fare to my friends and business colleagues alike. Tammy, Dave, Dan and Michelle have always delivered exceptional service without fail. A group of my business associates met at the grill one balmy afternoon to enjoy the last of the nice weather. The waitress was very prompt and took our drink and food orders. However after about an hour waiting I inquired about our food order and was told by the waitress there was a mix up in the kitchen. I asked to speak to Missy and she came to the table with the waitress and said the waitress had forgotten to put our order in and that "mistakes happen" and there was absolutely no attempt made on her part to make any sort of concession for the "mistake".
I contacted the owner, Mr. Foley and have never heard a word from him. So much for customer service. [27 Nov 2006 20:18:13]

Lousy service and food to match We made reservations one Sun. and were told we could not make reservations for a specific location. O.K. if that's the rule. When we arrived the table we wanted was empty so we asked to be seated there and we were told that it was reserved for someone else. HUH? and they tried to seat us where all the service people come and go we said to forget it and left. We have been there a few times since with family gatherings and the food has always been mediocre at best. Big Stan [26 Dec 2006 17:23:15]

Great Place Regular customers. Meaning at least once a week, mostly twice a week. Missy, Drina, Irene always make us feel at home. The food is always over the top. Ambiance since the remodel is unbeknownst to Camarillo. Not a better place in Camarillo for the manager and all her servers. If you haven't been, you need to go. [22 Feb 2007 04:44:09]

Not Worth Your Time Went there with co-workers for lunch. The hostess who seated us was grumpy and the waitress was unattentative. There were only 5 of us. It wasn't that crowded and we couldn't figure out what was the problem. Food tasted ok, better food elsewhere. Not worth your time and money for the lousy service. [10 Jun 2007 17:36:44]
