Best in the area It may be hard to find (in a strip mall) and only open early morning to 3PM, but I like the bagels and the sandwiches. The breakfasts are also quite good. The NY hot Corned Beef Reuben is my favorite. [02 Mar 2005 13:34:37]

Where is Elmer Dill? Tell the world! Make that stop in Camarillo! When you see the Marriott off the freeway, get off, and into the strip mall next to the hotel. You can't miss the place! You've GOT to try the bagels. Wow! Talk about fresh and the best! I had the "works" bagel with lox/cream cheese/tomato/onion/cucumber and, believe it or not, Capers! What a great idea! Make sure you order everything with the bagel as the menu had 2 different listings, one for just lox and cream cheese and the other with everything on it. The menu, with its sandwiches and salads, etc. is extensive. I spied other customer dishes and it all looks wonderful and there were indeed heavenly looks on the customer's faces. Oh, and by the way, the service was magnificent. The guy behind the counter reminds me of Cheech Marin. He was not only hilariously funny, but was diligent and ensured all had excellent service. Everyone there, including the customers, were all friendly. Way to go. I'll be back! I'm getting gas for the car now. Here I go. [05 Mar 2006 14:44:49]

Killer Food This place is the bomb! I have been going there for a long time. They opened back in 1994, and they opened a new shop in Mammoth which I go to as well. Very hard to find a place that still makes there own bread, pastries, salads and soups, etc daily at their store, quality for sure!!! Check out their web site, I hear they are going to open in Thousand Oaks, great cause that is where I live!!!! Good job guys. [31 Mar 2007 17:41:07]
