Perfect in Every Way The Sow's Ear Cafe is simply perfect in every way. From the moment you walk in you are treated like royalty here. We have enjoyed this place for over five years and it has always been just right.
The atmosphere is very romantic with white tablecloths, low lighting, two fireplaces and candles and flowers at the table.
The bread is served in small clay pots. A white bread and a dark bread which is warm, soft and oh so yummy! The salads are perfect served with carrot curls, kalamato olives and radishes.
The chicken fried steak is the house specialty here, served with a garlic mashed potato and steamed vegetables. I have also tried the salmon in parchment paper which made me weep joyous tears. It is really that amazing.
The desserts are all good. We share one as we are usually pretty satisfied after the dinner. The wine list is also very good serving local favorites.
I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. It is sure to please. Bon Appetit! [26 Jan 2004 21:47:07]

Incredible The best restaurant my wife and I have ever been to -- had Salmon in Parchment Paper and Stuffed Chicken Breast. Great food and great service, from the moment we walked in. We can't wait to go back. Wonderful addition to our honeymoon! [21 Sep 2007 23:58:34]
