Best in Carmel
Casanova's is consistently the best restaurant in Carmel. The dining areas are intimate and romantic, the service is efficient but friendly, and the food is excellent. The sommelier is readily available to help you choose from their impressive wine list. They seem to make every occasion perfect for their customers. I went there with a rowdy group of 12 the night before the Big Sur marathon, with a small group of friends, and on a date, and each time they were completely accommodating. Did I mention the food? Yum. For dinner, you get a first course antipasto, then choose a first course and entrée. Prices range from about $20 to about $50 for the three course meal.

Every time I try a new restaurant in Carmel, I wish I had gone to Casanova’s instead.    [29 Mar 2005 16:12:12]

We spent a few days in this little town on the coast. Had a great time and found this great restaurant, Casanova. We had a great lunch on the patio. Food was great and a true value. Supperb wine list and the atmospher was great. the service was very attentive without "my name is and I will be your waiter"
We will go back soon. The concierge told us that they just opened a new little place called "la Bicyclette" that will be next on our list.    [06 May 2006 03:18:10]
