Small chef-owned restaurant located in the heart of Carmel. Fresh ingredients and seasons dictate the menu. Two or three specials each day. Comfortable setting. European feel. Wine list with hard to find aged wines from the cellar of part-owner Narsai David.

Worse than Awful
Rude service and frozen. I went there because the hotel suggested it since they have outside seating and I had a dog with me. The concierge made reservations 30 minutes before I arrived (I heard him do it) and they had no memory of it. I had to start to leave before the manager finally turned the outdoor heat on. The worked to hard to be creative and forgot to be good so I ate very little of it and gave the rest to my dog.    [28 Dec 2003 21:20:13]
