Excellent food, friendly service, good value...
I came to Woodlands on Dosa night (Wed. & Fri.), where you can have many Dosa's and the 'unlimited buffet' for about $10 (as of this writing).

The food was excellent, at least for buffet fare. The Aloo Gobi was nicely spiced, the Chana Masala had a nice sweet undertone (unusual for me, and I liked it), and the other dishes were good too. I am far from expert on Dosa's, and the one I had was very nice. Fresh salad and fruit also were on the buffet, and were both of very good quality.

The manager was friendly, and ensured that he sought my feedback, and to know if there was anything to be improved.

I had Chai (Indian tea), and it was heavier on milk than I am used to. It was, however, very nice.

The ambiance is average; a bit plain at the tables and restaurant, and certainly pleasant enough. I am there for the food and the service, not the decorations.

The restaurant is apparently under new management, and I certainly have no complaints for my first time visit. I would recommend this restaurant.    [17 Jul 2007 22:44:05]
