Great Place Review Date: 14 Aug 2003 What a great place to eat. My husband had the Hula Burger and I had the ribs. Both were out of this world. The ribs were tender and delicious, the best I've had. We were so pleased that two days we treated our aunt and uncle to dinner. Plus we'll be celebrating my parents' 67th wedding anniversary at Honolulu Harry's. The help is really friendly and nice, especially Amber. Amber in Chino that is! [01 Oct 2003 03:08:54]

Awesome! Review Date: 11 Sep 2003 The best new restaurant to hit Chino. Went there with my husband on date night and we ordered the Potato Stack-yum! My husband ordered the steak and I ordered the Fish Tacos, both were great and we were pleasantly surprised with the prices! These people know what they are doing! We will definitely be going back! ALOHA Spirit comes to Chino.. 'ALOHA = The Universal Word'.. ...Is the name of the wonderful Eugene Savage 'ALOHA' Painting that graces Chino Honolulu Harry's entire back wall. It was originally painted for the Matson Luxury Steamship Liner Lurline to Hawaii. It also graced my Matson Terminal Front Lobby Wall in Los Angeles Harbor, where I went to work after returning home from the 1st Major Battles of the Vietnam War, as depicted in Mel Gibson's recent "We Were Soldiers" Movie. ...So I very quickly got lost in the unforgettably loving ALOHA Spirit for my next 33 years on the Mainland. ...Our 1st HH Dinner was Sunday night. Our 2nd HH Dinner was last night, Monday night. Our 1st HH Lunch comes Tuesday, today, in about an hour from now. ...Go lose yourself to the ALOHA Spirit on the Mainland, Hawaiian Style. It's right there, right now in Chino, California USA. YOU deserve it.! [01 Oct 2003 03:14:24]

Seniors As part of an activity department in a senior retirement community we took fourteen residents out to lunch at Honolulu harry's in Chino. All gave a thumbs up and would return. I, personally, loved the Maui Onion Strings. We would definitely return as we appreciate the great service and the very good food. [29 Feb 2004 21:03:41]

Fish Lovers I have been to Honolulu Harry's several times and really enjoyed the Macadamia Encrusted Halibut. Their version of 'nachos' is great. Great food, great service, great ambiance, cold beer. Need I say more. [15 Apr 2004 19:29:55]

Enjoyed the food Great Food. Sweet Potatoe Stack a genuine winner. Wonton salad superb. Service fair. Inattentive waiter Gary, didn't suggest coffee or desert, but plopped down the bill. Took my money and did not bring back the change. I had to call another waiter over to get a bag for our leftovers and my change! It spoiled the visit for me. [26 Apr 2004 00:57:23]

Just returned from CA I took a trip to CA from VT. We ate at HH's in Chino, CA and it was DEELICIOUS! I couldn't say a bad word about them. Excellent service on Friday night. We returned Saturday for takeout, which we brought to our motel room next door. I made a buffet out of HH's appetizers - potato stack, coconut shrimp and their wonton nachos-yum! Mahalo Nui Loa HH is the place to go for your taste and cravings of Hawaii. We have been going since 2003. Chino is a bit to drive, but it is well worth it.
We have followed Preston, the manager, from Corona to Chino. He is awesome and accommodating. We feel like one of the locals from Hawaii when we are there; we truly talk story and grind. There has not been one item that we have not liked. I am partial to the Ahi (Poke). Mahalo, braddah, for the birthday song, too! You guys are the greatest!!! Aloha TuTu and Pa TuTu.
