This Was a Wonderful Experience!
This was a wonderful experience! We had roasted garlic appetizer with bruschetta bread and an assortment of pestos. It was to die for. Our entrées were ravioli stuffed with Italian pumpkin with a sauce of wine cream Frangelico. I could have drunk the sauce. My husband had angel hair pasta with a lemon cream and lobster; it was great! I have to confess, we traded half way through. It was a great dinner. We also had a bottle of wine that I had never had before from Bonny Doon, a Barbera, very drinkable with ripe fruit and a good, clean, smooth finish. For dessert, we had chocolate creme brulée, which we split, for my husband's birthday. It was served with a lit sparkler, an outrageous presentation for a birthday!

The service was very attentive. Scott was very knowledgeable about the restaurant's food and wine. The ambience was comfortable, friendly like a bustling trattoria in Italy! I almost hate to write and tell about such a great find. The prices were fair and the service and food well beyond our expectation!    [12 Aug 2003 20:12:28]

Great Food with Great Service
This restaurant in the historic old town of Claremont was a perfect fit as a dining experience. The mood was nice, the service was excellent, and the food was fantastic!!

Firenze in the Heart of Claremont, Who Woulda Thought?
We discovered this wonderful ristorante last Friday evening (recommended by people in the hair salon!). From atmosphere to menu, wine list, service, and the meal itself -- outstanding. We had dinner, then lunch the next day with family. Excellent on both occasions.    [15 Dec 2005 15:55:08]

Beautiful setting, great waiters, lovely feel.
