Delightful Authenticity
I truly enjoyed my experience at Casablanca. The choices for the appetizers were astounding (one could spend an entire meal just with those!) and everything was freshly prepared. The beef shish kebab is a must, as are the seafood selections. The staff were friendly; it was a pleasure to meet the owners. The Best
I truly believe that Casablanca Bar and Grill at the Packing House (Claremont) has the best food I have ever had. Very friendly people and great food, with wonderful and astounding atmosphere. Less Than Satisfied
I was served the wrong wine and was overcharged for it. The baby chicken was dry, but the hommos we ordered was quite good. Overall, an okay dining experience. I'll give it another shot.    [25 Aug 2007 15:39:54]

Never Again!!!!!!!

Huh?
This was quite an experience, albeit not a very good one. Although in retrospect, it was somewhat amusing if you like being treated poorly and verbally abused.

My friends and I dined (dined?) there this past Tuesday evening. The food servers and proprietor were drinking at the bar. Hence, very slow service.

When they did get around to serving our food, they were loud and obnoxious and overly friendly, but not very helpful.

All the food was cold and the wine glasses were dirty and had lip marks on them. When we requested new glasses, we were given glasses equally as dirty!

Most interesting of all was approximately one hour or so after I returned home, I received a phone call from this establishment and was told upon answering, "Stay the f--- out of the restaurant."

The Best
I had great and wonderful food at Casablanca, it was some of the best food I have had for a long time. I came with family; almost all of the ten members of my family thought it was wonderful food and tasty dishes. The service was great, specially when you see a nice owner going from table to table making sure everyone is happy and satisfied. Oohhh, I could not believe the prices on the menu for this kind of good-quality food. I have already been there four times, and for sure will go back again.

Not Too Good
I'm glad Safaa and family found the dishes tasty, as the food is not so much! The service was not "great." It was horrible.

As far as seeing a "nice owner" going from table to table making sure everyone was "happy and satisfied," we saw a drunk owner lurching and ricocheting from table to table. No one inquired if we were happy and satisfied. In fact, once our food was served (cold), we didn't see our server again until we were presented with our check. My family will not return. Amazing
We had one of the best meals in a while. I could not believe how wonderful and very well-prepared food. I had so much fun just smoking the great hookah outside on the patio, where you can also see others walking by. The food was great; the hommos and Greek salad are to die for, and the best were the lamb chops. I found the service to be little slow when we first went there last year, but that is okay for a new restaurant just opened a few days. I learned the owners were doing everything possible to correct some of the issues here and there. When we went back again, it was wonderful, and the service was great.
