Worst service in Claremont!
My date and I walked in and didn't know if we sat ourselves or were going to get help. The guy behind the bar made eye contact, but he was too busy trying to pick up one of the customers. My date and I decided to just grab the first table, but he YELLED from behind the counter, "Hey, that table's taken, buddy!"    [05 Jan 2004 03:31:07]

A Claremont Institution
If you expect the same experience provided by first-class airline tickets, then you are in the wrong place. Unassuming, unpretentious, full of laughter and happy people, Heroes is a slice of the California, Route 66 culture lacking in other local restaurants. Good Eats and Good Laughs!
Heroes is exactly what Claremont needs -- unpretentious, low-key, and with quick service to allow you and your mates (try not to go alone) to get your grub and pub on. The beer selection is nice, but the food is what this place is all about, especially the burgers and steak fries.

Slow, annoyed servers in an understaffed "restaurant". They will deliberately avoid eye contact in an effort to avoid customers. Don't show up within an hour and a half of closing time because they want to shut down early and will turn you away. Dealing with management is worse, as they will be condescending and aggressive. The food is not worth the trouble and there are plenty of bars with beer on tap.    [22 Apr 2009 19:03:15]
