Cool Hand Luke's Is Phenomenal

Needs a lot of work
Their food is okay as far as Dynaco goes. In case you didn't know, they are owned by the same company that owns Perko's, Brooks Ranch, and Country Waffles. They are trying to make it in the steak house market now. The service is lacking due to the inexperience they have for wait staff. The food has a weird sort of after taste, I think it is some kind of meat tenderizer that they use. Ambiance is that of the Chevy's that was there before and we can tell they didn't make it. Overall, I would never go back to that restaurant again. I would rather go to a hole in the wall joint down in Tower [district] for dinner next time. They have reasonable prices but if they are getting substandard meat products, we know why the prices are so low.    [17 Apr 2007 04:42:46]

Cheap food for such a beefed up place
The shrimp are pre-cooked frozen shrimp that look like they have been purchased form Costco. I unbreaded them and found them all to still have their veins. The steak is flavorless, and the beans taste like they are straight out of a can. I would not recommend this place for its food. The Coolest Joint in Town
We love Cool Hand Luke's. Luke's always has fantastic service, and wonderful food.

The atmosphere is great; it is like you are in an old western town, from the moment you walk in the door and throughout your whole dining experience. My husband and I eat at Luke's at least two times a month. It is affordable and you are always bringing food home!    [25 Apr 2008 16:27:33]
