Description

Located in a strip mall at Herndon and Tollhouse with about six tables and two barstools. Ice cream can be ordered by the scoop or in smoothies, shakes, sundaes and other fountain specialties. The sandwiches are made to order so you'll have to be patient, but they're worth it. Soup or salad are included with each sandwich. The soups are homemade.

First the ice cream: Double Rainbow is a chain based in San Francisco. It's quality ice cream with a variety of flavors, similar to Baskin-Robbins, except better quality and fewer flavors.

The sandwiches are well-made and since they include soup or salad, really are worth the price (about $5). The salads have plenty of greens and extras. The soups change daily and are home-made.    [16 Apr 2000 04:57:03]

This is the cutest cafe, with excellent food. I take my daughter here after every school event and get an ice cream.
I also took the girls at work here for lunch, now it's a monthly event for our office. This cafe reminds me of some I visited in Europe.    [05 May 2004 15:05:15]
