Authentic Mexican Food??? I don't where to start, but, this place lacks taste. The food is overpriced, tastes like it's been lurking around for about a week, and the fake smiles these people have is totally wrong. Place should be shut down for good. [14 Jun 2004 14:25:07]

DELA
Authentic Mexican Food! Not sure if Dela ate at the same place I did. Excellent food and $8.50 for a two item plate is much cheaper than any good place in Fresno. My in-laws who eat/cook Mexican food everyday of the week go to Sandoval's every week. I will be happy to make the 45 mile trip down to eat again. [09 Jul 2006 00:57:45]

Not really authentic but not too bad It's not at all authentic Mexican food, the veggies that come with the entrees are good, their nachos are good too, their waitresses are nice. It's not the greatest food I've had, but neither the worst. Personally I would not drive 45 miles to it, it would be a waste of expensive gas. The place is really clean and presentable and their mariachi on Sunday is nice. [08 Oct 2006 15:49:29]

been there done that
It's a shame to Mexican food I have been to many Mexican restaurants and this place has more fake people then I can count. Not only does it feels like a soap opera in there with all the trash talking that goes on but the food is clearly the worst. It's overpriced and they some how try to incorporate non-Mexican flare to some of their dishes. I actually had eggplant in my shrimp a diabla! It's very busy but I think it is partially to the fact that there are not many options in that town. [08 Nov 2006 21:31:47]

Best Mexican restaurant in the valley Outstanding Mexican food. Best salsa I have found plus you also get bean dip for your chips. The 3 combination dish ($9.95) is a great value. My favorite is 2 cheese & onion enchiladas with a ground beef tostada. Served on a large platter with rice and beans, I take home enough for 2 additional meals. Their mango margarita on the rocks is to die for. On the weekend the prettiest waitresses of any restaurant. Food presentation approaching that of Erna's Elderberry House. [03 May 2007 01:23:53]
