Located in the Elk Grove countrside, Silva's Sheldon Inn is a casual fine dining restaurant and bar; the building itself is over 100 years old. The food has American, Portuguese, Italian, and classic French influences. Menu staples include roast duck, filet mignon, and fresh fish. Wonderfully warm, romantic atmosphere. I loved the pork loin/chops in a nice sauce and my wife enjoyed their chicken dish. Bread pudding very savory.    [20 Jan 2005 21:12:19]
