Stale Cake.
Ordered an expensive birthday cake from Ramone's in early May 2004. Cake was served for son's 15th birthday. It was stale; the cake was dry and off-flavored.

Next morning my wife returned the 2/3 not served for a refund as she thought that Ramone's was a reputable bakery and Northcoast business.

They told her they were only "authorized" to give 1/2 her money back. What?

It's not as if we could know that Ramone's used an old cake, bad ingredients, or improper storage before it was served!

Very unhappay. Ramone's loses all our business and warrants warning others that they should seek out a bakery that actually cares about its food, customers, and reputation.

Ramone's used to be the areas finest bakery. The owners seem not to care anymore.    [09 May 2004 13:26:01]
