If you like apricots, this is the place for you!!
The apricot waffle is served with warmed apricots on this side. Very good. Bear in mind, this is a road side eatery and is great for a quick meal while on the road. Also has lots of funky items for sale....When traveling by car, one does not usually expect 3-4 star restaurants along the highway!    [09 Mar 2003 11:51:42]

Worst Place Ever
I expected real good food, but instead I got the crappiest service from the servers, especially mine whose name was Robert Gee. He spilled water on me and did not offer an apology. The owner and manager Carlos Delgado also has cameras everywhere, note to him, nobody is going to steal your worthless junk. He also has food all over the counters and floor that he continues to serve to customers. What a nasty owner! I only like the friendliness of the cashier: Maria. But I will never go there again. Thumbs down!    [29 Aug 2003 13:44:08]

Changes
I haven't been through in about two years. But I'm sad to see all the changes, the servers are all kids. Our usual waiter "Joe" was gone. He really knew how to make us feel at home with his friendly attitude. I think Robert the manager was our waiter once or twice before, it's nice to see him again. The food is still good but the service was what made it great.    [25 May 2004 15:40:28]

Sucks, Sucks, Sucks
The apricot food sucks, it seems like they used canned apricots. The portions were small, and they force you to go from the gift shop. The prices were 8 bucks for a breakfast dish that you can get for 3 at Denny's.    [04 Jul 2006 20:37:50]

Only restaurant on the 5
I love the chocolate milkshake with chocolate ice cream. My husband likes the apricot pie. Not too sweet. Spaghetti is good and the French toast. Been eating there since 1997.    [20 Mar 2007 20:27:22]

Not a Bad Little Place!
My family and I were on the way back to San Francisco from L.A. and stopped here for lunch. It was a nice place to take a break and grab lunch. The gift shop is fun to browse around in and the collection of lunch boxes was very cool! The service was pretty good, considering how crowded the place was. The menu is very large and has many options!    [26 Nov 2007 18:15:56]

Do Not Eat Here!
When I first walked in, I was very put off by the cameras and obvious security measures. The wait staff ignored us, and we were served stale bread. The kicker was this: when my dad asked about the apricots, he was told that they were canned! For a place named for apricots, you would imagine non-canned ones. The only thing I liked was that the apricot tree in the front was very pretty. Too bad it isn't put to use!    [18 Jul 2008 23:27:10]
