awesome food and service
This is the place to eat if you love home-style food. The extensive breakfast menu is great, ranging from omelettes and country fried steak to lo carb dishes. Lunch is great too. The salads are huge and the sandwiches are fantastic. They have hand-painted murals of old time gold mining and the restrooms have been painted like outdoor scenes.    [13 Jan 2005 13:27:49]

When Good Restaurants Go Bad
I've been coming to the Gold Miner cafe for years and have always enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts. Ever since the business was sold and new owners took over, the service and quality of food have rapidly declined. I'm sorry to say that after giving them 2nd, 3rd and 4th chances, I wouldn't recommend them anymore at all.    [27 Oct 2006 23:51:13]

Best Breakfast in Folsom
The Gold Miner has gotten better and better every day since it has opened under the new ownership. Everyone loves it that has eaten there. Great reviews on the food and the service, and always a line at the door. The menu has remained as well as the cooking staff, it hasn't changed at all! Still great!
