2 strikes, you're out I know to try each DiCicco's location because the cooking can vary. Both times I tried this location, it was food for delivery, so I don't know how much that affected the quality.
The first time I ordered calzone. Delivery was quite slow and by the time it arrived, the calzone crust was soggy, smelled of grease, and tasted more like it had been deep-fried than baked. I was quite disappointed.
Willing to give them a second try, this time I ordered "Scarface" which is pasta in Alfredo sauce, with chicken and mushrooms. They were generous with the chicken (chunks of breast meat) and mushrooms. Unfortunately the pasta was noticeably over-cooked and mushy, and the sauce was missing something. It wasn't horrible but for $12.95 I expected better. I also ordered minnestrone soup, which was bad. It tasted like they don't know when to stop adding salt, and the veggies in it were cooked to death. Orders come with bread, which arrived warm and was quite good - crusty and chewy.
I'd like to give them a 3rd try, to see what they do with pizza, but I think I sense a trend and will save my money. [04 Jun 2002 05:39:34]

Ugh, the location I tried was not good (1530 Nees), and it's not worth my money to keep trying different locations until I find a good one. I went with others and none of us ordered the same thing, and not one of enjoyed anything that was brought. Totally overrated. The garlic bread was good. [31 May 2007 16:17:41]

Terrible I ordered on line and they sent me an email with my total price. When they delivered the food the bill was $5 more than the price I was emailed. I didn't want to argue with the delivery person so I paid the bill. I ordered a meat calzone and snicker cake desert and was delivered a pinneapple calzone and cheesecake. Do yourself a favor and order/go somewhere else. [10 Oct 2007 21:35:09]
