Not quite fast food, but thousands of times tastier than the Taco Bell stuff across the street. There's a table with all sorts of salsa, pico de gallo and other toppings to jazz up your food. They have unusual meats such as tongue and brains. The burritos are filled with rice and beans and one burrito is more than enough for a meal. I usually eat half and take home the other half for a late night snack.
It's all good! [26 Feb 2000 05:44:03]

best Mexican in town! This place is super casual and what we (my friends and I) like to call a real taqueria! It is always busy, always fast, and always good! This is the kind of place you go after a long day of work when you just need a drink or some real food. If you are a beer drinker, all their beers come fixed up with a shrimp and tapatio(hot sauce) stuck in the top. Their tacos, sopes, shrimp cocktail are all awesome. The only thing I would not recommend are their nachos...nothing fancy and not filling if you are hungry. All the meats are tasty but I highly recommend the pastor, as in tacos al pastor (pork roasted on a spit-like thing). I always leave full and very happy. This place is authentic! The atmosphere is super simple, casual, and more of a working class place. Don't let that keep you away. If you like that Americanized Mexican stuff so many restaurants serve, you are truely missing out on some of the best stuff around. Plus, with self-serve salsas (the real ones), limes, onion, and cilantro...it is heaven! And the staff does speak both English and Spanish perfectly fine! [29 Dec 2004 22:13:47]

One of Fresno's best kept secrets! The food is delicious, the beer very cold, and with the shrimp and hot sauce, "out of the world". It is a very casual eatery, very authentic. The shrimp dishes are to die for!!! [08 Dec 2006 17:11:02]

Great Taqueria Plus More A true hidden gem in Fresno . . . well maybe not so hidden, this place is always full of hungry people. Carne asada, carnitas, al pastor . . . man, they all rock! Love their tortas. Now if they only had some real good salsa, like, let's say, hot chile oil from Salsas la Llorona, then they would truly be incredible! [16 Apr 2008 02:19:12]
