Beagle says... Want an interesting pasta experience? Fuzio may be the place. This is not an Italian restaurant, although it serves Italian pasta dishes. In addition, however, there is udon (a Japanse noodle soup) as well as other menu twists on pasta and noodles.
Fuzio offers very light dishes, and often healthy ones. There is nothing on the menu which will bowl one over, yet it is very easy to find oneself a repeat customer here. The food is good, but not great. It is unique, but not gourmet. It is fresh, but not homemade. In short, the food is average but certainly worth the reasonable price.
The atmosphere at Fuzio is always lively. Located in the River Park shopping center, it seems that Fuzio has become the crossroads of Fresno. Everyone passes by or through at some point. The main problem is that the tables are so small as to leave one claustrophobic. The only way to avoid this feeling is to eat on the patio which is often very, very cold during the winter.
Want a reasonably priced, quick, fairly healthy yet non-risky plate or bowl of pasta complete with unlimited people watching? Fuzio is your destination. []

Healthy Food at Excellent Prices We love this place! The food here is just so fresh and everything on the menu is HEALTHY! My favorite is the calamari linguini that is always delicious and cooked to perfection. Served with lemon slices. The salads here are very fresh and served with feta cheese and roma tomatoes. The foccacia bread appetizer is also very good. Atmosphere is upscale and lively. We like to sit outside on the patio during the summer under the misters when it is really hot!! In the winter there are heat lamps out. Calamari linguini, an orange San Pellegrino, a nice Mediterranean salad and it's pasta heaven! [27 Jan 2004 17:37:55]
