The Big Oops!
A group from the office went here on my recommendation based on an earlier visit. We were terribly disappointed. The food was passable, but the service was terrible. No attempt was made to serve everyone together; our plates arrived over a fifteen minute spread. No attempt was made to appologize for this error, either. Best Peking Duck in town!!
We have been going to Harvest Inn for years and have found that it serves the best Peking duck in the Los Angeles area. (Must be ordered in advance -- We like to have the duck with the buns rather than the pancake wraps). The decor is very nice and the restaurant is much more peaceful than many of the other Chinese restaurants. Always a Good Experience
I have eaten at the Harvest Inn for lunch and dinner dozens of time and have always found it to be a rewarding experience both as to the food and service. Since I no longer work in Glendale I make an effort to drive the 23 miles to the Harvest Inn as often as I can because I have not found a better restaurant which serves Chinese food.    [04 Apr 2004 17:52:12]

Frequent Customer
Good restaurant with high quality food. Service can be an issue when they are busy, particularly at lunch. Dishes usually come out spread apart and appetizers could come with the main course. Other than this, one of the better Chinese restaurants in the city.    [20 Feb 2006 12:14:08]

Depends on the day
Harvest Inn's food can be exceptionally good or really average. I suspect it depends on who is cooking that day. That said, I think this is some of the best Chinese in Glendale.    [02 May 2006 20:09:41]

Long-time Customer
I've eaten lunch here many, many times and have always had our food served in a timely and appropriate manner, whether with a large group or not. Now that I no longer work in Glendale, I still make sure to eat here at least once a month.
