Great Burgers, Bad Location! It's a well known fact that In-N-Out burgers are delicious, well-priced and just plain great. I'm sure I don't have to go into a huge rave about the delicious thousand island "spread" or the freshly cut fries, or even the great prices, because you already know all about it. I would like to say, however, that this location is a rather bad one. The actual location of the building is fine, as it's located on busy Brand. However, there is VERY little street parking in front, and the parking in back is very inconvenient, as it's part of the huge mall/Brand Blvd. parking lot. Even worse than that, there is NO drive through, and we all know how important that is for a fast food restaurant. However, since it's the only one in this area, people still flock to it. There are just a few items on the menu - the hamburger, cheeseburger and the "Double-Double" (double cheeseburger), the fries, drinks and shakes. There's nothing else on the menu at the restaurant. However, if you go online, you can see their "secret menu." It includes "animal style" items (burgers and fries). It also lets you know that you can order as many burger patties on 1 burger as you'd like, like the 5x5 or the 10x10. I love the animal style fries, which are the regular fries served with a generous amount of spread (thousand island), melted cheese and grilled onions. REALLY tasty, and they serve it with a fork, as it's quite large after all the toppings. The "animal style" burger is also good, as it has grilled onions instead of the regular onions. A GREAT fast food burger place, but unfortunately, not the best location... Really hard to find good parking, but still worth a visit, of course! [27 Sep 2007 18:36:25]
