Solid, mild Mexican food
Chile Peppers offers a nice dining experience with loads of appropriate atmosphere. Fans of Mexican decoration will enjoy the artwork, architecture and stylings of the decor. The food is reasonably priced and many selections and variations are available to suit any sized appetite. As ordered, the food is very mild, with few dishes prepared spicy. Upon request, they will make things a bit spicier, but generally, this is not 'authentic' Mexican food. It suits the clientele in the area, but don't expect the level of Mexican seasoning you would get in East L.A.

The service is generally good or better. Take out is also available. Reservations for large parties are recommended and they have loads of space to accommodate big groups.    [17 Jun 2004 13:31:38]

Worst Experience Keeps Me Away
My friend and I used to be regulars, eating here two or more times per week. An experience which could, honestly, happen in ANY restaurant, because they ALL have vermin, was the end of our patronage. The incident resulted in only a hesitant deduction from our bill (two dinners and two soft drinks, mind you), rather than tab picked up by the house for two regulars - VERY tacky. Or would "tasteless" be better . . . ?    [18 Oct 2004 11:05:08]
