The strawberry doughnuts served here are excellent, well worth driving miles to get.
They make new doughnuts in the wee hours of the morning (4 am or so), and that's the best time to go.
Their regular doughnuts are above average, but nothing special. [14 Sep 1999 20:16:16]

Worth the Drive When I was in school at Cal Tech in Pasadena, someone was always making the 34-mile round trip for the strawberry doughnuts; the peach, in season, are also just as good. [11 Nov 2000 12:45:23]

This Is What Strawberries Were Made For While this tiny little donut shop does well with nearly all of their wide variety of donuts, the feature product is clearly the fresh strawberry donuts, when they are in season. Best in the southland, not to be missed. Get sticky! [03 Apr 2003 11:15:58]

Oh, Yum! The strawberry donuts are awesome, but don't forget the other donuts . . . I haven't had a bad one yet. Don't pass up the chance to experience this little gem of a donut store. [19 Jun 2004 14:10:19]

Mmmmmmmm. What does it say about a donut place when their donuts are the only thing you eat on your wedding day? Simply put, their strawberry donuts are the best. I'm a big fan of their tiger tails, as well. The nondescript location, friendly service at the pickup window, and the high likelihood of seeing a cop car in the parking lot really complete the quintessential Southern California donut experience. Yumm!!! Great strawberry filled donuts! We drove miles for a donut. I even dropped a strawberry on my pants the first bite . . . but . . . didn't care . . . they were so delicious! Heading back for the peach-filled donuts!!! Couldn't wait for peach season!! Whoo-hoo!!! Oh, one thing, keep in mind . . . there is no place to sit . . . probably why I dropped my donut on my lap! Bear Claw from Real Bear These are the best bear claws I have ever had. The fruit donuts are great, too. [31 Jan 2007 21:48:54]

Well wWorth the Drive! Not really knowing where Glendora was, we drove from Sherman Oaks, questioning our sanity along the way, but arrived in about 35 minutes. We were NOT disappointed. THE best donut I've had. [07 Mar 2007 15:44:33]
