The owner is so right. She said she had the best soup in town and she's right, she does ! ! !

Everything is fresh and made on the premises. NOTHING is a “re-heat” or made somewhere else.

A Little Something Extra
A Little Something Extra - the meaning of the word, "Lagniappe" (pronounced Lan-yap). I work close by and eat at the cafe very frequently. I haven't had a bad meal yet! Sandwiches are all good. Salads are fresh and tasty. Daily soups are excellent! They even do a great breakfast sandwich. Although I wish they would bring back the breakfast burrito. The Cafe has gotten so popular and busy that if you don't call ahead for her daily lunch special or soup, it will be gone by 12:30.    [15 Aug 2006 16:07:08]

Amazing!
Not only were the people kind and attentive, but their food was amazing! All the salad dressing and soup is home made, and you can taste the difference. The salads were HUGE and fresh.
