Description
French bistro w/ a twist of mediterranean--Also full tapas menu. Beer & Wine (great small international wine list) & full bar. Great neighborhood restaurant same owners & location for over 30 years. Romantic dinner for two or have a fun party. Food is very good and priced very reasonable. You can also rent the restaurant for the night and throw a big bash.

A Diamond In The Heart Of Hollywood Oh My God!!!!!We had the greatest meal ever last week - It reminded me of the days I used to live in Paris. Our food was amazing in taste, presentation, quality, etc... Our waiter was absolutely wonderful-he made great recommendations as well as being very attentive to our needs. I've been going to La Poubelle on & off for about 15 years & a few months ago they went though a remodel--I truly believe that it gave new life to our little diamond in Hollywood. I liked it but . . . I went there to see if it was anything like it was in 1980. I used to go there a lot at the time. They had great crepes and omelettes. The menu has changed. The food is good and I liked the ambiance. I was only disappointed at the bread. I expected the true French bagette. There was one other annoying thing and that was the short man with a hat who came in and out all night and spoke nonsense very loudly to anyone who would listen to him, or even not listen to him.
