We enjoyed the restaurant. It was a warm feeling...it felt like we were in Mexico. Thank You,

Well El Gallo Giro what can I say? I was raised there in Cali, and ever since Gallo Giro opened, after the first time I ate there I had to eat there every weekend. I love the food and everything that comes with it. Now that I live in Kansas. God I miss it so much! Go Go Gallo Giro! TE QUIERES SENTIR EN CASA VISITA EL GALLO GIRO. [30 Jan 2002 20:15:16]

Good Food Bad Service The food at this restaurant is authentic and tasteful. However the service left a bad taste in my mouth. The girl behind the register was rude and when asked for her name or a manager, refused to acknowledge my requests. The management didn't acknowledge my grievances (both in person and in writing). I won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone. There are better Mexican restaurants in the area with excellent customer service. [11 Aug 2003 15:23:30]

Damn good aguas frescas!!! I love the aguas frescas at Gallo Giro. They are the best. They have everything from Horchata to Mammey. Mmmmm...I'm craving one right now. I so recommend their aguas frescas! [22 Oct 2003 01:07:53]

Good food; need to work on equal service I'm an Asian dude that loves Mexican food. Lived in Mexico for 3 years and the food at Gallo Giro is pretty close to some of the regional foods I tasted in my Mexico travels. Service sucks at GG. I'm fluent in Spanish & very polite but I get treated poorly by the staff here...sometimes I'm bypassed in line by the staff who serve other "latinos" before me. This world is too small now for this kind of treatment. Otherwise, good food,,,peace out. [02 Jan 2004 03:09:11]

Very good chilaquiles I loved their chilaqules plate. very good for breakfast. They do need to work on their customer service skills, but over all, it's ok. I also love their mexican sweet bread. Very good conchitas! [03 Oct 2004 01:09:38]

I love GG. The food is the real deal with the aguas to down the tacos. Service is not what most people are used if you have never been to a real taco stand. Get in line look like you know what you are doing (don't look like a tourist...it's tacos not rocket science) and order. [06 Jun 2005 01:16:00]
