Great Food, Fun Place, Nice People!
My husband and I stopped in while vacationing in Desert Hot Springs. The veal with a lemon/caper sauce was the best I've had. The pasta was understated and delicious. Very good wine selection and I can't say anything but good things about our waitress. Overall, a delightful experience. We'll return for more in December!    [25 Feb 2003 15:03:48]

Very nice Italian restaurant
We live in the area. My wife chose this restaurant over the multitude of eateries in the greater Palm Springs area to celebrate her birthday.

She had the “chicken francese” which she shared a bite with me. It was wonderful. I had the ceasor salad and vermicelli de Diablo that is pasta with a spicy side. Delicious.

The house red wines (Copper canyon) are really very good and reasonable.

Devane's Devoid of Quality
Heard mixed reviews so I decided to try it with out of town guests. (I live in Indio.) Ordered Chicken Chris. Arrived in a bowl overflowing with gravy... more like soup than a platter. Tough, dried-out chicken (which I saw someone else mentioned in their review of this eatery on another review site). Tasted like the freezer. Pasta was flavorless and clearly not fresh. Sauces just OK. Bread was very good. Server was friendly, but never returned after bringing out the food. I had to get up and walk across the place to find someone to get me what I asked our server for which she never brought. I also had get up yet again and ask someone else to tell our server to bring our check. All the while Mr. Devane sat with guests, unaware. My guests were equally unimpressed. FANTASTIC
We winter in the desert and this is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is great. The service is superb. Make sure to ask for the olive oil with herbs to dip the wonderful bread in!    [09 Apr 2005 19:38:14]
