Tender prime rib, great appetizers. Try their microbrewed beer, especially the Mojave Gold. Nice view overlooking the city, especially when it gets dark outside.    [10 Jul 2006 16:56:52]

Great food, great beer
We recently discovered this steakhouse & micro-brewery. This is the best bet for a great steak and a cold draft beer in the high desert. Have tried many of their dishes, including their seafood and they are all excellent.
Their food is fantastic, their service is fast and friendly and the beer is great. Try the prime rib, served weekends, and the rib-eye. Both are fantastic. Top the meal off with their Lobotomy Bock!

Mediocre at best
I know the high desert isn't exactly known for it's great food, but I was still disappointed. Steak was overpriced and bland. I actually used A1 sauce, something I never do on decent steak. I tried two of the microbrews, the Desert Pale Ale and the Lobotomy Bock. The DPA was billed as "hoppy, hoppy, hoppy", but I didn't really taste it, just a dull bitterness. Not horrible, just not very interesting. Same for the Lobotomy Bock.    [09 Sep 2007 23:19:22]
